On the 14 August 2009, they celebrated their union in the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens and danced the night away in the Palm House to the sounds of 'ol blues himself... in the form of their bestman.

Ceremony and Reception: The Brooklyn Botanical Gardens and enjoyed a second reception at the Bryanston Country Club, Johannesburg.
Honeymoon: After a honeymoon trip to Mauritius and South Africa, the newlyweds will live in Manhattan.

Favours: The couple made a donation to an organisation called LEAD Uganda, which is a charity their church works very closely with. The organisation serves as an educational leadership initiative for children affected by AIDS, war, and poverty. In a nutshell, they locate children living on the edges of society - AIDS orphans, former child soldiers, child labourers - and mould them into leaders. www.leaduganda.org
